Wild Life
Jack Gibson uses the lost-wax method of bronze sculpture for his meticulously detailed wildlife pieces. The first step in the process is the creation of a wax model that is an exact replica of what the finished bronze piece will look like. From this, a hollow clay form is filled with molten bronze to form the figures. The process is painstaking and requires a high level of expertise and experience to succeed.
